Season’s End (2.5 x 3.5 inches; watercolor)
A late autumn scene is the theme of this watercolor painting. I used this painting for a promotional giveaway at the ArtYah Community Forum. Congratulations to Debbie!
I painted this miniature yesterday morning while cooking breakfast.
This painting is available for purchase at my ArtYah Shop…
Through The Trees (1.5 x 1 inches; watercolor)
Got in a little painting today (no pun intended)! ☺
If you look carefully through the trees you will see a distant mountain range. I have also completed another one of these little gems, but you will have to wait until tomorrow to see it!
Remember when the Peanuts character, Charlie Brown, got a rock instead of candy while trick-or-treating? Well, I got a rock…and I painted it!
The gif image shows the steps of the painting process. The smooth stone was first primed with white gesso (3 layers), then painted with acrylic paints. I sealed the water surface with gloss medium and will coat the rest of the rock with matte medium. This should seal it sufficiently for an outdoor display. A very enjoyable painting experience!
Autumn Field (3 x 3 inches; oil)
Completed my last oil painting for an upcoming community festival.
Autumn Clearing (2.5 x 3.5 inches; gouache)
My latest gouache painting.
A photo from 2005 at Rocheport, Missouri along the Katy Trail. A great little village!
